Wonderful setting! The hotel was a bit dated but in a way this reflected itself as "olde world charm". The room was comfortable and quiet with a nice view. The evening meal was excellent value.

It would have been nice to have had one English channel on the tv, even if it was Sky News or bbc News 24.

The location is perfect for exploring the beautiful surrounding area and it's close to great restaurants like Arc de Ciel.

It was a lovely location close enough to Southern Spain as well as the "Arc de Ciel " restaurant. And it's just a short walk away from Bianca & Rossa, ate there once or twice.

The unit was brand new and spacious, just like the pictures, with a safe and a flat-screen TV in the bedroom, located in a beautiful and convenient spot near the "arc de ciel" restaurant.

Location was great, on the lakeside and within walking distance of Dax, restaurant - dinner was very good value for money and excellent quality.

The location is amazing, and there is on-site parking available for a convenient stopover.

The clientele mainly consists of elderly folks, seeking relief for their health problems. If you have trouble dealing with loud people and yelling children, this is your place. Everybody is in the sack by 10 pm. And the rates are very good.

The parking at the rear of the hotel could be a problem for people who have trouble climbing stairs because there's no elevator from there to the lobby and other floors.

The room was well-equipped and spotless, with a comfortable bed, a safe, and a television. the staff at the hotel were efficient and friendly. - the hotel is situated in a central area near Caen port, yet in a quiet location.
